Who is Zaditor for ?
Zaditor is used for the temporary prevention
of itching of the eye due to allergies. |

When should I be careful taking Zaditor ?
Before using Zaditor:
- Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are
allergic to Zaditor or any other medications.
- Tell your doctor and pharmacist what
prescription and nonprescription medications, along with any
herbal products, that you are currently taking.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan
on becoming pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become
pregnant while using Zaditor, call your doctor promptly.
- If you are using another eye drop
medication, use the eye medications at least 10 minutes apart.
- Tell your doctor if you wear soft contact
lenses. Wait at least 10 minutes after using the eye drops to put
in your soft contact lenses.

Zaditor Side Effects
Although side effects from Zaditor are not
common, they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms
are severe or do not go away:
- Headaches
- Stinging, burning, or discomfort in the eye
after instilling the drops
- Dry eyes
- Sensitivity to light
- Rhinitis (inflammation of the nose)
- Conjunctivitis (inflammation of the
membranes lining the eye)
If you experience any of the following
symptoms, stop using Zaditor and call your doctor immediately:
- Itching eyes
- Redness or swelling eyes
- Skin rash

How should I take Zaditor ?
Zaditor comes as eyedrops, which are usually
instilled into the affected eye(s) every 8 to 12 hours. |
