How should I take Silfedrine ?
Take Silfedrine tablets by mouth. The chewable tablets should be chewed prior to swallowing. Swallow with a drink of water. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Take your Silfedrine doses at regular intervals. Do not take Silfedrine more often than directed.

Contact your pediatrician or health care professional regarding the use of Silfedrine in children. Special care may be needed.

Elderly patients over 60 years old may have a stronger reaction to Silfedrine and need smaller doses.

What if I miss a Silfedrine dose ?
If you miss a Silfedrine dose, and you are taking it on a regular schedule, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose (less than 2 hours), take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
